Canadians bought more than 1,000 Triumph motorcycles last year, boosting sales for the British marque by more than 20 per cent over 2008 figures.

It makes Triumph the fastest growing brand in Canada, says Chris Ellis, GM for Canadian operations. “This is a milestone for European motorcycle manufacturers in Canada,” he said.

Canadian sales for 2009 were 48 per cent higher than industry average figures.
